somehow to keep it going #cottonjones
These past two years living in California has been completely amazing. I worked at capitola beach serving tables and met some creative people along the way. I’ve hiked through big sur, surfed the Pacific Ocean, enjoyed baseball games on the bay and converted to a sharks fan. (Leaving behind the New York Rangers) When you think about it, two years does not seem that long? But with the friends I’ve made and the places I’ve seen it feels like I’ve been living here my entire life. Don’t get me wrong though, New Jersey has never left my veins, but I grew up a little bit. Although I haven’t dove since we left south east Asia it opened the doors to new hobbies. So that being said, there’s only a month and a half left for me here in NorCal and there is still a lot of adventures I have to take advantage here. I’m grateful for the people I’ve met and my journey to Indonesia is more memorable because of them. This week I’m starting to pack my belongings and will be working more before my visit to New Jersey for thanksgiving. I have so much to look forward to and I can’t help but smile and be happy. There will be bumps. There has been bumps. But when I look back four years ago…..there’s nothing we can’t do. Ryan and I built a foundation, of not just love, but trust and reliance. Yes, we have big dreams, but when you start accomplishing your dreams you can’t help but dream bigger.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BEST FRIEND! because of you I’m a little wiser and a whole lot happier. I don’t know who I would be without you, I surely wouldn’t be the world traveler I am today! we’ve been everywhere and back and I can’t wait for adventure to continue in Indonesia, living on boats in the gili islands starting our life together as scuba instructors and soon own our own dive shop. you made my dreams come true and had made me dream BIGGER. I love you Ryan. #bestboyfriendever.
